Well its the first day and we are finally away. The house looked like we could have put it on the market (and my mum said she would buy it!!). We aimed to get away by 9:30 10:00 ish and got away by 11:00 so that's not too bad!!` It was great to have both of our parents there to see us off....

The day before we left was amazing up early and packing then a scouts BBQ at Bunnings till 12:30 when i had to go and pick up the boys from their Scout camp at Blackwood, Back to get some of the gear ready for Auskick which starts next week without me.... home to show Baiden and Nicole through the house and then off to my parents for tea... after all that I was very tied.. especially after being a bit tired and emotional the day before!

We arrived at Halls Gap with everyone else having been here for the past four days, the weather was brilliant, we were setup in a matter of half an hour or so... the only drama so far is that one of the water containers in the back of the car leaked so the back of the car is saturated!!!

We both still don't feel like we are gone for THREE months it feels just like any other holiday but lets see what tomorrow brings!

Ahhhh the first night (and first beer) in the caravan... bring on the next three months! Oh and thanks to CUB for putting Blonde into Cans! Well done Kenny!
